Abhay and Kiran are founding partners of ingrain with an extensive experience of working on projects with underlying focus towards evolving compact sustainable communities, with strong a vision of creating, low Carbon models, with an aim to make the city a more meaningful place.
They have a vast experience of more than two decades, of working on projects such as mass housing projects, master plans for integrated townships, ITES and IT SEZ’s, amusement and hospitality destinations, core city revitalisation and urban design, plazas gardens and parks, high rise residential and mixed use redevelopments, public and academic institutions, retail developments and corporate buildings and more.
During their professional life and academic years, they have won several prestigious national and international design competitions. They have extensively worked on important assignments with major national development corporations, public institutions as well as private sector developments.
In the recent past they have also worked as associates ~ advisors with national and international design firms in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Edmonton, Washington Dc and Shanghai. Both of them have received their Bachelors of Architecture degree from University of Pune, India and Masters in Urban Design from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) at Ahmedabad on Scholarship. They have delivered lectures at various architectural schools in Pune, Mumbai and Ahmadabad, visiting lecturers and have been invited for several design juries. They carried out extensive research on urban design related issues and publications.
At ingrain they are currently working on diverse projects based on typology and scales and at diverse locations including all the major metropolitan regions of India, along with certain key cities of China, Canada, and the UAE.

Ashlesha received her Bachelors of Architecture degree from University of Mumbai, India and Masters in Urban Design from Center for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) Ahmadabad, India. Since her graduation, she has been working in association and collaboration with various prestigious architectural organizations in Mumbai, Pune, Anand & Ahmadabad.
Along with her active professional practice, she has delivered lectures at various architectural schools in Pune & Mumbai, both as faculty members and visiting lecturers and have been invited for several design juries. She was visiting faculty in MMCA (Pune), BNCA (Pune), BVAC (Belapur) and DYPCA (Nerul). She was also involved in starting Urban design (Post Graduation) Department in DYPCA (Navi Mumbai). During this, she has carried out extensive research on urban design related issues. She was also invited to express her thoughts (paper presentation) on national as well as international platforms like ‘international conference for urban design’ at the various conferences held in Gounzaou University (China) and Istanbul University (Turkey).
As an Urban design practitioner, she has also worked on a large number of urban rejuvenation and tourism related projects in many cities of India through the Research lab at CEPT Ahmedabad and Sankalan research Foundation (Pune).
As a Partner in ingrain, she is currently working on varies scales of projects including urban design projects, institutional and educational projects and boutique villa and similar projects in various cities in India.

Ashwini has received education from reputed interior design institution from the University of Pune, India. She has also undergone training in Finance, administration. She has been working in collaboration with various prestigious design firms in Mumbai and Pune. Along with her professional practice, she has actively pursued art and design through workshops at various schools in Pune and Mumbai, both as coordination and as visiting members.
She has dedicatedly pursued art education and exchange as a major part of her recent activities. As a part of her ongoing involvements with multiple organizations, she has been conducting extensive discourse and interactions, through forums on art and design related issues. She has been constantly expressing her thoughts through various art forms and experimental micro projects. As an interior design practitioner, she has also worked on a large number of internal space rejuvenation projects in varied locations and contexts in Mumbai and Pune.
As a Partner in ingrain, she is currently working on projects within the domain of art installations, art integration, product design, graphics design along with major boutique interior design projects, with origin within our architectural design studio.
